What is the Problem with Fish Oil?

Although Fish oil is rich in EPA & DHA, it poses concerns due to ocean contamination with heavy metals. Heavy metals like lead, mercury, arsenic, and cadmium can accumulate in fish oil, posing health risks for your pet who consumes the fish oil.

Most salmon oil comes from farmed salmon. Farmed Salmon has been deemed the most toxic food on the planet due to their living conditions and feed. (1)

We recommend regular heavy metal detox for pets consuming pet food that contains fish oil or fish.

Another problem with fish oil is that it easily turns rancid, and consuming rancid oil has been linked to organ damage and atherosclerosis. (2)

What's the difference between Potent-Sea, Hemp seed oil, Phytoplankton, and Fish oil?

Potent-Sea is totally different from hemp seed oil and fish oil. 

Hemp Seed Oil doesn’t contain EPA & DHA - but it is a good source of ALA. 

Potent-Sea is similar to fish oil based on its amounts of EPA & DHA and health benefits. However, Potent-Sea is much healthier because it doesn’t contain heavy metals like mercury. Fish & fish oil are likely to contain high toxic loads due to pollution of our oceans and farming practices. 

Potent-Sea is also 100% ocean and environmentally friendly, whereas fish oil is not. 

Compared to Potent-Sea, Phytoplankton has much lower levels of omega-3s, but it is a whole food source and is incredibly beneficial for its minerals, amino acids, and superoxide dismutase (the king of antioxidants).

How is this different from Kelp or Other Sea greens?

This product is grown sustainably on land with triple-filtered Atlantic Ocean water, so heavy metals and radiation are never a concern. It is considered one of the purest products in the world!
